Dominance and T-Invariants for Petri Nets and Chemical Reaction Networks

چکیده
Inspired by Anderson et al. [J. R. Soc. Interface, 2014] we study the long-term behavior of discrete chemical reaction networks (CRNs). In particular, using techniques from both Petri net theory and CRN theory, we provide a powerful sufficient condition for a structurallybounded CRN to have the property that none of the non-terminal reactions can fire for all its recurrent configurations. We compare this result and its proof with a related result of Anderson et al. and show its consequences for the case of CRNs with deficiency one.

متن کاملModeling and Performance Evaluation of Energy Consumption in S-MAC Protocol Using Generalized Stochastic Petri Nets
One of the features of wireless sensor networks is that the nodes in this network have limited power sources. Therefore, assessment of energy consumption in these networks is very important. What has been common practice has been the use of traditional simulators to evaluate the energy consumption of the nodes in these networks. Simulators often have problems such as fluctuating output values i...

This paper introduces the notions of T-invariants for the class of finite jumping Petri nets, and extends the results concerning T-invariants from classical Petri nets.
متن کاملA P- and T-invariant characterization of product form and decomposition in stochastic Petri nets
Structural product form and decomposition results for stochastic Petri nets are surveyed, unified and extended. The contribution is threefold. First, the literature on structural results for product form over the number of tokens at the places is surveyed and rephrased completely in terms of T -invariants. Second, based on the underlying concept of group-local-balance, the product form results ...
